We're excited to bring a major consolidation and enhancement to your INKY Dashboard experience. This release centralizes partner onboarding, elevates outbound mail protection with flexible approval workflows, introduces a full Dark Mode theme, and sharpens the clarity of PDF exports. Each improvement is designed to streamline partner operations, boost security controls, and deliver a more polished user interface.
Administrators and end users alike will notice reduced context-switching, faster setup processes, and new customization options—whether you're deploying INKY for the first time, managing approvers for outbound messages, working late in low-light conditions, or generating high-resolution reports for your stakeholders.
Streamlined Auto-Onboarding Setup Now in INKY Dashboard
What changed
- Moved the entire auto-onboarding experience into a single “Team Setup” interface within the INKY Dashboard.
- Retained license key generation while adding self-service onboarding for Google Workspace and Smarthost environments—no support ticket required.
- Real-time status indicators show exactly where each team is in the setup process.
Why it matters By consolidating multiple deployment sites into one unified interface, partners save time and reduce confusion. Self-service onboarding empowers technical and non-technical stakeholders to deploy INKY independently, cutting down on support requests and accelerating time-to-protection.
Usage notes
- Access from the Dashboard sidebar: Partner Center → Team Setup.
- Requires teams to be flagged for Licensing V4 before self-service options appear.
Outbound Mail Protection: Support for Multiple Outbound Approvers and Rule-Level Approvers
What changed
- Assigned multiple approvers per outbound workflow via a searchable multi-select box.
- Added Global Default Approvers as fallbacks to ensure coverage if no approver criteria match.
- Removed the random super-admin fallback; approver assignments are now deterministic.
- Introduced rule-level override settings under Approval Required, plus a Backup Approver Trigger to notify defaults before expiration.
Why it matters Flexible and transparent approval chains reduce delivery delays and misrouted messages. Global defaults and backup notifications ensure there's always someone to approve, minimizing business disruption.
Usage notes
- Visit Admin Center → Outbound Protection.
- Under each rule, set Approvers and configure Backup Approver Trigger timing (e.g., 8 hours before expiration).
Dark Mode is here!
What changed
- Full Dark Mode support added to the INKY Dashboard UI.
- Theme switcher now offers System, Light, or Dark modes.
Why it matters Partners working in low-light environments or preferring reduced eye strain now have a consistent, visually optimized interface. This update aligns with modern UI standards and partner feedback.
Usage notes
- Click your user avatar at the top right → Theme → select Dark.
- Report any styling issues (e.g., contrast or alignment) to support@inky.com with a screenshot.
Enhanced PDF Export Quality on Overview and Report Pages
What changed
- PDF downloads from Overview and Report pages now render charts and tables at higher DPI for crisper visuals.
- Improved font embedding to preserve layout across different PDF viewers.
Why it matters Clear, professional-looking reports enhance stakeholder presentations and internal reviews. High-resolution exports ensure no detail is lost when zooming or printing.
Usage notes
- Navigate to Overview or Report → click Export PDF.
- If you encounter any rendering anomalies, send feedback with the affected PDF attached.
